Unmasked & Anonymous was an exhibition featuring portrait photography from John Shimon & Julie Lindemann and from the permanent collection of the Milwaukee Art Museum.
The catalogue's cover is designed with a die cut which "masks" the subject in the photo by revealing only their eyes. By opening the cover you are essentially unmasking them. Four different individuals were used for the cover image.
The design of the catalogue is purposefully devoid of any embellishments in order to let the character of the individuals in the photos stand out.
